Tile Repair and Installation

With a variety of textures, shapes and patterns, tile is an in-demand design element for modern builders and is a practical solution for easy to clean high foot traffic areas.

At Cattman flooring we install and repair primarily hard surface tiles. Typically tile installation also requires old material removal and subflooring preparation. Our projects page showcases some of our tile installation work.

Joint Spalling and Floor Heating Repair

Joint spalling is the breakdown of the slab edges within 0.5 m (1.5 ft) of the joint. A joint spall usually does not extend vertically through the slab, but intersects the joint at an angle. Spalling results from:

– Excessive stresses at the joint caused by traffic loading or by infiltration of incompressible materials.
– Weak concrete at the joint caused by overworking.
– Water accumulation in the joint and freeze-thaw action.

Concrete Polishing and Floor Prep

We grind old and new concrete floor surfaces to a high-gloss finish. The finished floors never need coatings or waxing, are extremely durable and a great alternative for retail spaces to tile flooring.  Polished concrete is versatile and provides a variety of polish options from satin to high-gloss based on desired application.

Epoxy Coating Removal

Epoxy paint is tough, bonds aggressively and is meant to be permanent; this makes it difficult to remove from a porous surface like concrete. We use latest PCD technology to remove epoxy coating at high speeds.

Floor Demolition

We provide dustless floor removal and coating removal for industrial, commercial, and residential facilities. Cattman Flooring has extensive experience in removing all types of flooring including hardwood, laminate, stone, epoxy and more. We use top-of-the-line equipment and OSHA required air scrubbers.
